It seems as though a lot of people have sensed the scammy undertones of Crumb. I was turned off as soon as I received my tag as well. There's just too many signs that they truly try and force the customer to sign up for the subscription. I had to sign up for the subscription to be able to order a replacement tag because it fell off the very first day. So now that I have this subscriptioni can't really see what I benefit from paying the premium price. now I'm limited to my review cancel ❌ asap

I was interested in this product esp when I saw the tag was free just pay for postage. I received the tag in a few days. I went into the app to register my dogs when suddenly I received a notification from my bank that $8.95 had been taken out. No notification of the cost plus when I researched further afterwards I was automatically signed into the premium subscription. No where on the app did I agree to any payment or level of subscription.

Advertised as a free tag (just pay postage), but that’s NOT TRUE. When I received the tag, downloaded the app, opened the app to register my dog, I was asked to enroll in a premium subscription to receive the benefits of having this tag. Very deceptive advertising, because it says the tag is free but doesn’t mention about monthly subscription before i ordered and paid $5 for shipping, after that kept me sending email, after email to finish enrollment. I deleted the app immediately.
