Knelt is a private prayer journal and prayer list app for Christians of any tradition. Add a prayer request in one line — just a name or a need, nothing else required — and Knelt builds today's prayer list for you, walks you through it one prayer card at a time, and keeps a dated record of what was answered and how long you carried it. It works completely offline: no account, no contacts permission, no server for a personal prayer list.
WHY ANOTHER PRAYER JOURNAL APP
Most prayer list apps are complicated enough to feel like a chore, or simple until they force an account, lose your prayers, or stop sending reminders. Knelt is built from real complaints against apps in this lane — too many taps to add a request, forced accounts, vanished prayers, reminders that silently stop firing, and free tiers capped at five requests. Knelt fixes every one.
ADD IN ONE LINE, ORGANIZE LATER
A prayer request needs only a name or a need to save. Who it's for, notes, which list it belongs to and a Bible verse can all be filled in later — new requests land in an Unsorted list so nothing is ever blocked on filing it correctly first.
REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY WORK
Set a reminder on any prayer request, plus one free daily "time to pray" reminder. Tapping a fired reminder opens that exact prayer, not just the app — reminders reschedule themselves automatically every time you open Knelt, so nothing goes stale or silently stops firing.
PRAY THROUGH YOUR LIST, ONE CARD AT A TIME
Pray Now turns your list into prayer cards: who or what you're praying for, the attached verse if there is one, "Amen" to mark it prayed and move to the next card, or Skip for today. No more staring at a wall of names wondering where to start.
NEVER LOSE A PRAYER YOU'VE CARRIED FOR YEARS
Deleting moves a request to a 30-day trash, and an export-and-restore backup means your list is never one bad tap from gone. Leaving another app? Paste a list of lines and Knelt imports one request per line.

Mark a prayer answered with a free-text note on how, and it moves to a dated timeline — a running record of answered prayers you can look back on, re-open, or export as a shareable PDF prayer book.
