HushWall is a focus app that helps you stop scrolling without shame. Instead of brick-walling distracting apps, HushWall steps in with a breathing exercise, a quote, or a quick mini-game — escalating gently the more often you try to break your own focus rules.
How it works
• Pick the apps and websites that pull you off-task.
• Set the hours you want to stay focused.
• Open one of those apps during a focus window — HushWall pauses you with a short intervention and lets you make a deliberate choice.
Why interventions, not hard blocks?
Hard blocks teach you to fight the app. Gentle pattern-interrupts teach you to notice the urge. The escalation system(quote → breathing → mini-game) reflects how often you've tried to slip past your own rules in the last hour.
What's inside
• Schedules: define focus windows by day and time.
• App + website blocking: works with Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Opera, Samsung Internet.
• Breaks: take a deliberate, time-boxed pause without disabling the whole system.
• On-device only: no analytics, no ad SDKs, no account, no cloud sync.
Permissions
HushWall uses the Accessibility Service to detect blocked apps and read browser URL bars (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Opera, Samsung Internet) for blocked websites, the Display Over Apps permission to show interventions, and Usage Access to suggest blocking targets during onboarding. It never reads passwords, messages, or any on-screen content other than the browser URL bar.
The only network request the app makes is a periodic version check to adewaskar.com. No personal data is sent, no analytics, no tracking.

Note this version explicitly mentions URL-bar reading + version check — matching the privacy policy + Accessibility justification + Data Safety. Consistency across all three is what gets reviews through.
