About this app

ALMSync is the mobile companion to ALM Sync, Adtran's platform for monitoring and provisioning fiber networks with ALM optical line monitoring (OTDR) devices. Log in to your ALM Sync installation and take your fiber network with you, whether you are in the office or out in the field.

NETWORK OVERVIEW
Browse links, alarms, ALMs and OLTs in one place. Search, filter and sort to quickly find the link or device you need, and check operation states like Monitoring, Diagnosing, Inspecting, Degraded or Inactive.

LINK DETAILS
Every link comes with a full set of tools:
- Overview: the most important link information in one screen
- Topology: follow the fiber path of the link
- Inspect: run and review inspect measurements with clear pass/fail guidance
- ONT Match: verify that ONTs are matched to the right fiber
- Fiber Identifier: identify the correct fiber in the field
- Alarms: see all alarms for the link

ALARMS
- Stay on top of problems in your network with the network-wide alarm list, filterable by severity and state.
- Push notifications keep you informed about new alarms, even when the app is closed.

ARGUS OTDR SUPPORT
Connect an ARGUS handheld OTDR via Bluetooth and work with it directly from the app:
- Browse, search and sort the measurement protocols stored on the device
- View OTDR traces in full screen, with wavelength and fiber length details
- Share your location with the ARGUS on request, with full control (Ask, Automatic or Off)

Please note: ALMSync requires access to an ALM Sync installation. You need a backend URL and a user account to log in.
