Recurrently can't open the app. Only solution is to clear data, andlogin again (auto-fill not working, by the way). After doing this, there's is the further annoyance of not having previous requests available on the app.

The application is almost unusable. Every time I open it I have been locked out and I have to go through the process of adding a new PIN that cannot be the same as the last one. Multiple times the search button or confirm buttons are greyed out even though everything has been filled out. I have tried three times to book online appointments that then I'll be done via the app, but never work, and I end up doing it over the phone. I prefer to use the site or call directly.

This company doesn't even deserve 1*. Same for the app. You will request a claim and get a answer probably negative. Because they will do everything they can to not pay you what they should. Maybe you will get a change of state to "Waiting Info". Good luck, consider yourself lucky if you know what info do they request. Maybe you get an email, maybe not. Maybe the info needed will be in claim section, probably not. Any case, you will have to submit a new claim with info and go back to the begin.
