GHIN is the app built for golfers by the USGA — post scores, track your Handicap Index®, play with GPS, and see the stats that show how your game is trending.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Post scores — total score or track hole-by-hole with advanced stats
• Play a round with GPS: simplified setup, richer course graphics, one-handed scoring, or switch to a simple digital Scorecard if you'd rather skip GPS
• See your game in the new Stats section: recent trends, score history, hole-by-hole, advanced stats, and course-specific performance
• Set up and play fair matches against other golfers with a Handicap Index — including front nine / back nine / overall results
• Compete on virtual leaderboards through Challenges, at select courses through your Allied Golf Association

GETTING STARTED & UPGRADES

• Start with a Free Trial: post 3 scores to get an Estimated Handicap Range, and continue posting for 30 days after that
• Enhanced GPS is available as a premium upgrade — Green Maps and front/back yardages on your phone.
• Membership through an Allied Golf Association is required for full app functionality

Absolute garbage. App crashes everytime I try to keep score with it. UPDATE: The app is still useless for keeping score. crashes everytime I try to use the score keeping function. UPDATE #2: The app still crashes every time I try and use gps or download a course. Why have the gps feature if it doesn't work? Way better apps out there for score keeping.

I use the app only to enter hole by hole scores while playing and that works fine. I only use it for scoring, not gps. I am annoyed by having to dismiss an upgrade message, wait to load my course and then click the edit icon *every* time I open hole-by-hole scoring. After dismissing it 50 times or so you might get the idea that I don't want it the upgrade or any gps features. I would like the option to use a simple scoring interface with no frills please. Now crashing and losing data.

I do like this app and how it displays stats from your recent rounds. I always found it very simple and intuitive to enter scores. The main reason I no longer use it is because it it doesn't offer a "Scorecard Photo" feature: a fun way to display your scorecards and share with others. If they were to add a customizable feature like that, I'd be right back using it.
