There are hundreds of users reporting that the microphone gain in the OLA app is excessively high on both Android and iOS devices. The transmitted audio is often so loud and distorted that it is difficult or impossible to communicate effectively. In many cases, when a user transmits through the app, the audio is extremely uncomfortable for others to listen to and can even be painful when using headsets or earpieces.

I'm able to connect, read and make changes and write changes back to the radio. 2 stars because I can't save my Mini-5 info to the phone because of the password issue when trying to register with Ola. Oops one star now because when I saved my changes, all my AirBand channels were deleted. Glad I had a backup in RT Systems.

This app leaves a lot to be desired! After the update, it won't let me log in? I haven't changed my password, and I have checked and double checked it against my saved password and I am not entering it wrong? Seems like every update brings some new quirk that's irritating as all heck! I am beginning to think that the best advice I have read in the reviews, just use a cable, is the best way to go! Good luck!
