Word Shaker is a word searching game with a twist: words don't have to be in a straight line. Your goal is to earn the most points by finding words in a grid. Each letter has a particular point value, and you earn bonuses by forming longer words. If you enjoy word games like Scrabble and Boggle you'll love Word Shaker.

I'll be honest - if I'd done a review before this update, it would have been 5 stars, easily. The new version is a big downgrade. I would go back to the last if I could, because I love the game. Windows and ads are larger, making split-screen play borderline impossible. The new font for controls kinda hurts to read, the ads are much more present with no way to pay to get rid them, and various information no longer displays. Bring back the old version, please!!!

For the last week, every time I load the game the bottom row is too low and I can't tap the letters without hitting home row buttons. It has significantly impacted my scores. I have been playing this game for years and am extremely frustrated. I usually score 1st place a few times a week, but I can't break 70 without the bottom row! I hope the issue can be fixed soon. ETA-Wow! It took almost a year for the update. I can use the bottom row again.

I have enjoyed this app for quite awhile. The ads seem to grow with use though and are sometimes hard to get out of; the app itself works great. The game offers choices in time and number, etc., and you can see where you stand among peers. You have to be aware of the edges as I occasionally would catch on something and have to wait a second or two for it to reset. That's about all and it's fair. It's a fun game. I'm still playing in 2026.
