AFLW is back! You can now discover AFLW, plan your game experience and follow every game of the AFLW Competition on the AFLW Official app.

The app has undergone a major refresh this season, and AFLW fans can look forward to an optimised homepage featuring live match cards, vertical stories and video clips, stats leaders, and curated content based on their favourite team. The upgraded match centre brings improved navigation, team lists, and enhanced match coverage, including vertical match stories.


The app also now supports multiple competitions such as the VFLW, along with refreshed video and news sections, expanded player and team stats, and a more intuitive ladder experience providing deeper access to the game. Logged-in users with an AFL iD account will also enjoy a more personalised experience, with saved preferences and tailored Favourite team content carried across platforms.

great central location for W news. love that I can get extended highlights and full replays. give me an option to switch off ads for sports betting companies (replace those ads with marketing for any other kind of advertiser you like) and it would be 5 stars

last year was better because we could watch full replays of most games. This year is more like every 2nd game, but otherwise great app, and off field coverage is evenly spread

Still has some bugs (ads that don't close when you press the X, spinning loading graphics that never go away, generally slow), but overall has improved. But, my biggest gripe is, just like the men's app, there is no section for Finals. It seems so weird to just ignore and omit such an important part of the season. Really needs to include a finals bracket/diagram (even if it only appears after the end of the regular season), especially as the Finals structure changes each year and is unfamiliar.
