The Gautrain system provides you with a safe, comfortable and reliable train service, a dedicated bus system, as well as drop-off and parking facilities at all stations (except at OR Tambo International Airport). These services are fully integrated and may be used separately or jointly by transferring from one to another. The services are all accessed by means of your Gold Card. Additional services include car rental facilities at Johannesburg Park Station, Sandton- and Pretoria Stations.

Probably the worst transit app I've ever used. Slow, clunky, text is hard to read, it insists on using my location - definitely not a necessity for finding out a schedule and price from Sandton to OR tambo. It is impossible to find out a train time and cost later the same evening. Absolutely unreal, and the website is even worse.

Absolutely horrendous. The app is incredibly slow. The train schedules on the app are outdated and have not been updated in years so almost all of the times shown are wrong. The balance shown for your card is also wrong and refuses to update at all. It takes multiple days for a payment to go through on the app so I would recommend topping up at a station. There is no point in using this app since nothing works and it will simply complicate your Gautrain experience further. 1 star is too high.

This app just became the most useless app ever! If I can't reload my card on this app (or the web for that matter) then what's its use? I literally have to keep on adding the payment card to my profile yet it continue saying "no payment card" (or something like that). The Web portal also keeps on hanging/ session time out/ failed or whatever it is!!! When payment finally goes through (Web) it's not credited on my Transit Card (Not showing as pending). Now I need to do a claim 😱😱😱
