Velopace is a GPS speedometer with no ads — not on the free plan, not ever.

Big, clear speed. A large digital readout inside a smooth analog gauge, in mph, km/h, knots or m/s. Velopace shows how accurate the GPS fix is and says "Searching for GPS" when it doesn't have one. It never shows a made-up number.

Head-up display. Switch to the HUD for giant digits on a black screen. Turn on Mirror, set the phone under the windshield, and read the reflection. Works in portrait or landscape, and keeps the screen on.

Speed alert. Pick a limit and Velopace beeps once, vibrates and turns the readout red when you go over it — at most every 10 seconds, no voice.

Trip computer. Start a trip to record distance, moving time, total time, top speed, moving average and climb. Each trip is saved with its route, drawn on the trip screen and coloured by speed, plus a speed-over-time chart.

Private by design. Velopace reads your location only while it's open on screen. No background tracking, no account, no ads, no analytics. Trips are stored only on your phone.

Velopace Pro adds your full trip history, GPX and CSV export, City and Highway alert profiles, extra gauge styles and colours, and lifetime stats: $1.99 per month, $9.99 per year, or $14.99 once for lifetime. Safety: don't look at your phone while driving. Use the HUD on a mount or let a passenger read it. Velopace is not a certified speed measurement; always follow your vehicle's speedometer and posted limits.
