This app is a great help in keeping on schedule with agnihotra. However, there are a few points that could be improved. Firstly, I agree that the app should turn itself (or the screen) off after the alarm sounds. This is mostly a distraction and not really useful when you are focusing on the offering. Plus, it drains the battery unnecessarily. I have also had trouble calculating to exact address, although it does calculate to my town. I agree with another reviewer that it would be nice to have a third alarm, that will sound five minutes before exact agnihotra time. This would allow for lighting the fire without having to watch the clock, and greatly enhance concentration during agnihotra. A couple of additional suggestions: Add an alarm sound that is a simple bell or gong sound, to blend with the auspices of the yagna. The addition of a 12-hour clock option would also be appreciated. In general, I really appreciate this app and would happily give the full five star rating, with the improvements of the above points.
One bug that I'd like to report: after the pop-up notification button appears that says "now is the time to do agnihotra" until you don't manually click to OK that, the phone will stay with screen on draining your battery for a long time. If you didn't manage to wake up in the morning to do agnihotra and the alarms did its thing, the screen will remain on until you wake up to tap OK. Either remove the pop-up completely because it's frankly unnecessary, or make changes in the code so that the phone goes back to turn off the screen as normal when fading out at least.
The app is mostly good for its purpose but needs an additional alarm. I have an alarm set 30 minutes before agnihotra time and one at exact time, but need another one 5 minutes before the agnihotra time.
Suddenly this app will stop working and shows a blank page for location any number reinstall doesn't help
Awesome Great way to get Sunrise/set time for your location. Thank you.
