Aide replaces your default Android assistant with a real AI. Try it with the built-in on-device model — no API key needed — or bring your own key for Claude, OpenAI, Ollama, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
Swipe from the corner or hold the power button to summon Aide, just like the built-in assistant. Ask it about what's on your screen, send a text, set an alarm, or look something up — all without leaving what you're doing.

Aide ships with a small AI model that runs entirely on-device. Pick "Aide on-device" in Settings to chat without an API key — it handles basic questions and quick actions like timers, texts, navigation, or web search. Free, private, ~550 MB download on first use. For harder questions, pair it with a cloud provider — switch between them with one tap from the chat header.
