Worse now please, don't forget that more important than having fancy design is TO WORK correctly. my wife’s Nexus 7 is unable to accept or decline reservations and it was working before. in my phone though is working well. bear in mind that people use it for professional work so fancy looks are rubbish when the app doesn't work
Pretty glitchy. Currently not able to enter options on what to search for. Where's the filter?
Can't log in, just takes me in circles from login to T&Cs and back to login
Great, except for invisible cleaning fees. It's a great system, and was my go-to site to travel. However we no longer use it because too many listings charge over £20 for cleaning fees, and the search function does not include this. So you get results saying £20 which actually cost you £40. Short of manually clicking through every result, you cannot sort by actual cost. Given the free time to search manually and slowly, checking for fees, it is a brilliant system. But we are backpacking around and booking new places every night - the app does not accommodate that.
I can't login to my account I've had since 2014 and I really want to make a booking. Each time I get the prompt to log in with Google and when I submit, I get the message "It looks like you already have an account. Please log in instead". It's the correct email address, no typo, I get marketing emails from you and when i click on the reset my password link, I get a notification stating that an email has been set... but after 3 hours of trying, none arrive. Please save my sanity! I can't login to raise a help request for this technical issue. I don't have (or want) a Twitter or Facebook account.
The filters suck. In my search I checked yes to pets and the filter did not filtering places which were unsuitable. This made me search aggravating as I had to check the house rules of each listing myself and most were marked unsuitable. An option to filter out by room types would be very helpful as well as my interest for this trip was for whole homes only and the search results had many private rooms listed.
I would've rated this app a 5, however, sadly, today I will be uninstalling it. Why would I uninstall an otherwise useful app you are wondering? I have just learned from PN, published by Paralyzed Veterans of America that Airbnb discriminates against people with disabilities especially those with spinal cord injuries. The approval rating for those with this type of disability is only a 25%.
