Alan's app is designed exclusively for insured people. From it you can:

- Make a medical appointment with one of the more than 50,000 doctors and specialists throughout Spain, to receive treatment in one of our more than 1,200 clinics and 240 hospitals.
- Access your medical card (and those of your family) in digital format to always have it at hand (we will also send you a physical card).
- Receive authorizations for the tests and treatments that the doctor orders you: Clinical analyses, x-rays, ultrasounds, etc...
- Access our help chat to resolve any questions you may have and help you manage any procedure.
- Contact a family doctor by video call 24/7 and talk to specialists via chat.

With Alan you can have online therapy sessions with professional psychologists without the need for a prior prescription. You'll also have access to educational resources, guided meditation and breathing exercises, and a guided journal designed by therapists to create better mental health habits.

The application works ok, but that is as far as this insurance goes with their help. The people who work with the authorisations are very incompetent. I have been sending them all the information they requested and they keep on requesting the same information I already sent them only for them to approve a totally different procedure in the end. The phone support screams at you and doesn't let you explain the problem. The 20 therapy sessions are actually 10, because they count a session as 30min

I don't thing the low ratings here are justified. I'm genuinely impressed with this app, especially when you compare with other private health care providers in Spain. The customer service is next level, you even have your own concierge who can call and book medical appointments for you based on your needs and requirements. And they speak EN. The video calls also work perfect for me. It is super easy to request reimbursement or authorisations and the overall interface of the app is super cute.

Everything about this App works very well for me. The Live Chat always resolves any coverage questions I have quickly. They provide phone numbers for Providers who don't support online bookings and will even make the appointments with them if you aren't in a hurry. I don't understand the low star reviews. They don't match my experience. I would recommend this App and this Insurance to anyone. (My comparisons are based on US Insurance which is always a big headache).
