Are the queens emerging today? AlateCast predicts the probability of nuptial flights for over 200 ant species, hour by hour, in your exact location.

The nuptial flight is the moment when winged queens and males leave the nest to found new colonies. It occurs only a few days a year, under very specific conditions of temperature, humidity, wind, and pressure. AlateCast analyzes these weather conditions in real time and cross-references them with thousands of historical observations of confirmed flights.

→ Current weather: temperature, humidity, wind, atmospheric pressure, and UV

→ Species- and area-specific models built with thousands of real-world flight observations

There are no black boxes. There is no opaque AI. Historical data is included in the app.
