HOW TO USE NOVLI:

1. Snap a photo of a mandarin chinese text you want to read.

2. Tap on words to instantly translate them and see pinyn.

3. Explore the other features: add to Anki style flashcards in a single tap, ask AI questions about the text, listen to your text.

Novli works for images of textbooks, novels, social media posts, uploaded lecture notes, or any other Chinese text input you need.

We built Novli because when we were learning to read Chinese, it would always take ages to look up words in Pleco, find their pinyin, and add to our Anki flashcards. Now we can do this all from Novli in a few taps.

Great, only one mistake on the captured words which I could edit. I'd give it five stars but it needs a way to organize and group screenshots into collections. that seems like an obvious and fundamental need for what it aims and promises to deliver.

Wonderful app, I can't live without it. The translation great, I love the flashcard feature, which allows you to make flashcards from words, phrases and sentences.

What’s new

Renamed from Readly Chinese to Novli. Same app, same subscriptions and features, just a different name.

Also added a feature where you can review flashcards at anytime.
