Great App just 1 major thing I see so far is when I click to hide the pinyin it unhides on the next one yet the English translation stays hidden is what I want for the pinyin, to give me a chance to read it before the audio voice & seeing everything else in order to learn to read Chinese Characters along with learning pronunciation. The autoplay moves at an insanely fast pace or a way to control the speed would be nice. Upside, the app is very good at teaching the difference between this & that

Hi. In the settings you can toggle "Reveal pinyin" and "Reveal translation", which will solve what you are describing. As for autoplay moving quickly, you can adjust every detail of this and get the exact speed you want. In "Delay settings" you can adjust the time before and after sentences. The "Custom repeat" settings are also very powerful.

This deceptively simple app is amazingly effective. Yes you can use it for study, but you can also use it for repetition practice. You can set up different repeat patterns both fast and slow, as well as timing pauses, so you can use it to practice speaking, to practice translation, or to just listen to while doing daily activities. And it's only $15 to unlock lifetime access to the whole app? Well worth it.

I never thought I could learn a language until I've used this app. This is the only language app that is extremely simple, no gimmicks, no ads, just learning. Each lesson is 25 sentences and introduces ~5 words. I suggest not trying to perfectly memorize anything. Rather listen, repeat, take in the structure of the sentence, then move on. Words from prior lessons are reused so you'll get some naturally spaced repetition. You will feel progress. I only wish there were >2 voices (1 male, 1 female)
