HRV Monitor

reads data from a Bluetooth LE or ANT+ heartrate sensor and analyzes the heartrate variability. The app computes and displays most of the well-known statistical values used in HRV analysis. Furthermore a stress index is determined using the method of Baevsky.

The app can be used with both Bluetooth LE and ANT+ heartrate monitors.

Ratings and reviews

Simple, clean and accurate. I'm using with Polar H10 chest strap and it's on par with other HRV apps I've tried. Only reason for 4 stars is the previously mentioned lack of explanations for the data, and lack of response to my email. A simple FAQ or Wiki would be immensely helpful (especially if it had links to research), but in the meantime I'd really just like to know what stress index this uses. The number is fairly meaningless without understanding what it's measuring and what it means.

The latest revise of this App (v1.7) has rendered it useless on my Samsung A13 smartphone. I cannot resize the screen to toggle it. Feedback to the developer. He was quick to respond. I have been quite happy with the software. Too bad the latest version has some bug on Android 14. Software - 5 Recent update - 2 Developer response - 4 Overall - 4.1

would love to give this much higher ratings. developer is responsive to questions, but can't seem to fix the issue of connection. system will not find and connect to a Garmin HRM Pro Plus .
