Al-Maany is central to my Arabic study. It is my go-to stop for Arabic definitions. Here are some aesthetic improvements you can make in the order of their importance: (1) A more readable font like Noto Naskh Arabic or Noto Sans Arabic instead of the font in the UI (the font of the definitions is fine), (2) automatic synchronization of the dark mode with the system-wide setting, and (3) the option to choose multiple dictionaries at once. Overall a good app , a nice gesture, but as the most downloaded Arabic dictionary you really have to do better to live up to your position . The app is a bit slow and lacks some words, it needs more care and work from the "development team" if there is any to speak of .

Very useful. I use it a lot to help me comprehend words in Arabic textbooks. But an ad plays every time I submit a word to search. It gets annoying when I need to work fast. I wish there was an option to remove it; a paid version with a fair price.
