Altirev is an independent civic technology platform designed to promote transparency and accountability in the electoral process by enabling real-time election observation and reporting. The platform provides a structured environment where election-related observations from polling units can be documented and shared.

Information published on Altirev is submitted exclusively by accredited party agents through a secure agent interface. These agents are present at polling units during elections and report observations and polling-unit data through the platform. All submitted reports undergo internal validation and review by the Altirev communications team before being made visible to the public.

Altirev references official election information and portals provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Availability of external government websites is managed independently by INEC, and temporary downtime or maintenance of those services is outside of our control..
