It's an okay device. At times it does not register the breathing but when met with my tech once a month they see it. I gave up writing in the chat for assistance they call days or a week later. The other problem is if you are having a breathing problem the device tells you to blow harder cause it couldn't read it. How are you supposed to do that

The Aluna app is a game changer. It let's you keep track of everything so easily. Now I always know my son's current lung function and have data to share with doctors. The interface is easy for him to use on his own and is very motivating. I've never felt so in control of my son's lung functions and medications on a daily basis. It helps you track of good and bad days. He's off to sleep away camp next week, and we are able to have a chaperone download the app and monitor him too.

I'm new to the Aluna device and service. The service and device are necessary and useful; the app is very buggy and unreliable. Left alone for more than 1-2 seconds without input, the app signals an "Internet not available" error. The only option is to hard close the app and start over. Synthesized voice sample is cut off. Rocket ship animation OK for kids but a bar is better for adults. Maybe the iOS app works better? I'm not changing phones over this, though. I'll quit the Aluna service first.
