About this app

Your fab house sent back a ZIP full of Gerber and drill files, and the first viewer you tried either refused to open half the layers or asked you to pay before it would show more than two. GerberView opens the whole stack — copper, mask, silk, outline, and drills — every time, for free.

OPEN ANY FAB ZIP
• Drop in a ZIP from KiCad, Altium, Eagle, or your fab house and GerberView auto-detects every layer: copper top, bottom and inner, solder mask, paste, silkscreen, outline, and drills
• Open loose Gerber and Excellon drill files directly, no ZIP required
• Use "Open with" straight from your file manager or an email attachment

SEE THE BOARD, NOT JUST THE LINES
• Realistic Top and Bottom board views built from your actual layers: substrate, copper, solder mask, silkscreen, and plated holes
• Stack view for reordering layers and adjusting per-layer opacity, so you can check registration between layers
• Pinch to zoom and pan to inspect fine traces, with board dimensions shown at a glance
• Recent files list so you can jump straight back into a project

SUPPORTED FILES AND TOOLS
Gerber RS-274X, including the X1 and X2 extensions, and Excellon drill files. Reads full fabrication ZIPs exported from KiCad, Altium, Eagle, and other common PCB design tools.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
Your boards stay on your device. Files are parsed and rendered locally and are never uploaded, and GerberView works with no signal, no Wi-Fi, and no account. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics — never file names, file contents, or personal data — and carries no ads and no tracking for advertising.
