About this app

Notebook keeps your writing organised without getting in the way. Group notes
into notebooks, colour them, pin what matters, and find anything in a second.

There is no account to create and no sign-in. Open the app and start writing.
Everything you write stays on your device.


WRITE WITHOUT FRICTION
• A clean, full-screen editor with nothing between you and the page
• Saves as you type, so there is no save button to forget

• Or export a single file wherever you like, and share a copy to any app
• Backups are plain JSON, so they stay readable and portable

GETTING STARTED
1. Tap "New notebook" on the home screen to create your first notebook.
2. Open it, tap "New note", and start writing. It saves automatically.
3. Long-press a note to pin, colour, share, duplicate, move or archive it.
4. Swipe a note left to archive it, right to send it to the trash.
5. Use the search bar on the home screen to find any note.
6. Open Settings for theme, accent colour, text size and Backup & restore.


PRIVACY
Notebook does not ask for an account and does not upload your notes anywhere.
Cloud backup writes directly to a folder you choose in your own storage app, so
a copy only leaves your device when you ask for one.


ABOUT ADS
Notebook is free and supported by ads. If you would rather not see banners, you
can turn them off for 24 hours at a time from Settings - no payment needed.


UPGRADING FROM AN OLDER VERSION
Your existing notebooks and notes carry over automatically. Backups made by
older versions (.xml files) can still be imported.
