Great hover board. But the app sucks. I have a Note 9. The only thing I can do is select the 3 modes. Thats it. It doesnt show the map while its tracking, I can not change the units to imperial from km, and I think there is botton that looks like a flashlight, I have no idea what it does because when I push it nothing happens. This app needs a major update.

The app does work on Galaxy S25+. It opens up to the Halo red screen with a picture of a wheel that says smart, tap the wheel then tap the word hoverboard while it's scanning. The flashlight button does nothing, I installed the app on an old iPhone 5 the flashlight button was not even there. The tracking uses an older Google map so blank screen like everyone else says. The speed must be read directly from the hoverboard It updates instantly. beginner mode steers way too slowly and I fall off.

The app simply does not connect to the Rover via bluetooth even though my phone sees both available connections just fine. The app just forever says "scanning..." and nothing ever happens. I've reset the board twice now as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the app, still it refuses to connect. I have a newer phone too, a Pixel 3a that I've had for about 6 months now with no known issues to date. The board DOES still operate without connecting to the app but I have no control of what mode I want to be in... nothing. So disappointed right now. :(
