Many hours sunk into this now, so I'm ready to write a review. To be fair, it's a good game. Tried and tested mechanic, good spells, gear progression. To be honest, with all the quests, dungeons, versus battles, skirmishes, daily challenges and what else, there's *too* much going on. However - after a few chapters, the enemies far outpace the organic growth of your character, and you're into microtransaction hell, having to pay to progress further, or grind for months. No thanks. Too greedy.

Having a lot of fun with this so far, currently a few chapters in and level 26 (and despite other reviewers' complaints, I haven't felt pressured into spending money at any point). My only issue is it should be easier to acquire the crystals to evolve followers, I'm stuck with a toon of food I can't use because they need to be evolved to level up further.

This is a shadow of what puzzle quest use to be. Number values too big to care or even tell if you are doing good damage or not. Classes seem confusing, the ui isn't very well made and the tutorial is lacking. Throwing a bunch of info at you through a power point slide so you can easily forget what you can do. AP action points allowing you to take X amount of turns feels lame. Not a lot to really praise this game. The animations are over produced too.
