Ratings and reviews

this is a great sudoku app, I like that it actually teaches you techniques so you learn how to do it/what to look for instead of asking for a hint and it just giving you a number, like every other sudoku app. I also like that it has more difficulty levels, other apps I've tried I could ace the hard levels and didn't even need to pencil anything, but then I'd go to the next difficulty and it'd be a 50/50 chance if I could solve it at all. This is definitely my go to sudoku app!

It's good for learning new strategies. Unlike other apps, I can choose to only use part of the hint - sometimes I just need to hear that there is an xy-wing or a swordfish, and then I can practice spotting it myself. I also like that it provides lots of options for customizing how the game operates. However, I wish there was a way to color code the cells.

Love the game! But the ads switched to a "force you to sit through it and then click on the x" to close format which is too intrusive. Also, some of the ads are COMPLETELY inappropriate, such as "undress the girl by solving the puzzles". I know this game is rated "T", presumably because of the ads (otherwise why would a number puzzle be T?), but I believe these ads are inappropriate even for teens. Tempted to find another game. :-(
