About this app

Cube Timer is a clean, fast solve timer for speedcubing. Hold, release, solve,
tap to stop. It works entirely offline, with no account and nothing to buy.

THE TIMER
Hold the screen until it turns green, release to start, and tap anywhere to
stop. Times are shown to two decimals. Set the hold delay to match your habit,
mark a solve +2 or DNF straight after it, or delete it. Optional 15-second
inspection with callouts at 8 and 12 seconds, and the +2 and DNF overrun rules
applied automatically.

SCRAMBLES
A fresh scramble for every solve, for 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, Pyraminx and Skewb.
Scrambles are random move sequences generated on your phone, with no repeated
faces and no wasted turns — suitable for practice. Official competitions use
random state scrambles.

STATISTICS THAT MATTER
Ao5 and Ao12 update as you solve, with WCA rules applied properly: the best and
worst are dropped, a single DNF counts as the worst, and two or more make the
average a DNF. Best single, best Ao5, best Ao12, session mean, standard
deviation and solve count are all there. Keep separate sessions per puzzle and
switch between them in a tap.
