About this app

Poker Timer runs your home game. Tell it how many players and how long you
want the night to last, and it builds the whole blind structure for you —
levels, breaks, antes, chip colour-ups and a projected finish time. Then it
sits on the table and answers every question anybody asks.

It works completely offline. No account, no sign-up, no subscription, and
nothing capped behind a paywall.

SET UP IN THREE TAPS
Players, duration, buy-in. That is the whole setup. The blind ladder is
generated to real tournament maths: you start about 100 big blinds deep and
the structure is sized so the game actually finishes when you wanted it to.
Every generated value can be overridden if you have your own way of doing it.

THE CLOCK
Big, readable countdown in landscape for the table. Current and next blinds,
level number, time to the next break, players left, chips in play, and the
average stack in big blinds. The screen stays awake all night. A chime and an
optional spoken announcement mark every level change, with a configurable
warning before it.

CHANGE IT WHILE IT IS RUNNING
Add a level, insert a break, stretch the current level, nudge the clock a
minute either way, or jump backwards and forwards. Nothing restarts. Nothing
is lost if the app is closed, backgrounded or the phone reboots — the
tournament comes back to the exact second.

STRUCTURES
Four ready structures: home game, turbo, deep stack and tournament style with
a big blind ante. Or build your own with any blind values, any ante mode, any
per-level duration and breaks with your own labels. Save as many as you like.

PRIZE POOL AND PAYOUTS
Enter the buy-in and the app tracks the pool through rebuys and add-ons, then
splits it across the right number of places for the field size — rounded to
real notes, so you are not counting out small change at midnight.

CHIPS
Work out how many chips each player needs, and get told one level in advance
when it is time to colour up the smallest denomination.
