About this app

AndyGreen is more than a learning app – it's a digital training companion for gardening apprentices and their trainers. Apprentices document their work, trainers track progress and can review and comment on projects digitally. Aligned with the official training curricula of Switzerland and Germany.

AndyGreen also features a lexicon with 2,800+ plants. You can create your own plant lists and learn them playfully in various quiz modes – or compete against classmates in multiplayer mode.

Capture directly on the job site: photos, checklists, plants, materials – all on your smartphone. Each project is linked to the official training curriculum. Done? Send it to your trainer with a single tap. They review, comment – and at the end, export to PDF for your training portfolio.

PLANT LEXICON
The complete range for gardening training: perennials, shrubs, ornamental plants and more. Each plant with image, botanical name and details. Use the smart filter to find plants by use, growth form, flowering time, location and more.

PLANT LISTS
Create your own lists, share with others and learn in quiz mode. The overview shows how many plants you've mastered – so you always know where you stand.

QUIZ & MULTIPLAYER
Learning plants becomes a game: Practice alone or compete against classmates in multiplayer. Collect points, climb the leaderboard – and show who knows the most plants.

DASHBOARD & RANKS
Everything at a glance: The dashboard shows apprentices and trainers the current status – which learning goals are completed, which are still open. The progress bar grows, and with each success you level up: From "Greenhorn" to "Garden Expert".

MESSAGE CENTER
Project submitted? The trainer gets notified. Feedback received? The apprentice sees it immediately. Comments, status updates, improvement suggestions – all directly in the app. No emails, no paperwork.

TRAINING CURRICULUM
The official training curriculum – directly in the app. Switzerland (EFZ, all specializations) and Germany (GaLaBau) are fully integrated. Each project is linked to a learning goal, the lexicon contains all exam-relevant plants. No learning goal is forgotten.

YOUR TRAINING CERTIFICATE
All learning goals completed, all ranks unlocked, all projects documented. At the end, it's more than a diploma: a digital record of your entire training. The apprentice can show what they've learned – a real plus for future employers.
