Trace and sketch with Augmented Reality (AR)

ArtEasy is an AR draw app that overlays a semi-transparent image on your real paper through the camera. Use it as a simple AR projector to trace clean outlines, practice proportions, and improve hand control - one sketch at a time.



AR tracing on real paper

Place your phone above the sheet (a stand or tripod works best). ArtEasy shows an AR overlay on the camera view so you can trace the lines directly on your page. Keep the image aligned, adjust visibility, and draw at your own pace.



How it works

1. Pick a template from the catalog or import a photo from your gallery.
2. Point the camera at your paper and position the AR overlay.
3. Adjust size and transparency, then start tracing.
4. Save templates to Favorites for quick access later.

Tools while you draw

• Resize and align the overlay to match your paper
• Opacity control for comfortable AR tracing
• Flip / mirror to choose the best orientation
• Hide / show overlay to check your progress
• Flashlight support for low-light drawing
• Reset to return to the default view

Template catalog for sketching & coloring

Choose what to trace today: Cartoons, Anime, Cute, Animals, People, Food, Aesthetic, Nature, Architecture, Anatomy, Cars, Flowers, Tattoos, Trend, Space, Hieroglyphs, plus seasonal holiday collections(New Year, April Fools’ Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Hanukkah, and more). Trace the outline, then finish your art by coloring and adding your own details.



Favorites

Tap the heart on any template to save it. Your Favorites tab keeps your best references in one place - perfect when you want to repeat a sketch or continue later.



Tips for best AR draw results

• Use stable support and good lighting for smoother tracing.

• Keep paper flat and centered in the camera frame.

• Start with simple outlines, then move to detailed sketches.



Permissions

Camera access is required to display the AR overlay on your real surface. Gallery access is used only when you import your own images to trace.
