BrainFlow turns voice notes into written notes. Tap record, say what's on your mind, and get back a proper note with headings, the details you mentioned and a to-do list of the things you said you'd do.
It works well for a brain dump on a walk, meeting notes on the way out of the room, lecture notes, or a voice journal at the end of the day. Talk however it comes out and BrainFlow does the sorting.
What you get back
• A written note with a title, headings and bullet points
• Tasks pulled out of what you said, ready to tick off like a checklist
• A full transcript with timestamps, and the recording to play back
• Speaker labels for meetings and interviews, so you can see who said what
Speech to text that turns into something useful
BrainFlow transcribes your voice, then writes the note from the transcript. You keep both: the tidy note for reading, and the word-for-word text for checking what was actually said. Add names and jargon to your custom vocabulary so they're spelt properly.
Finding it again
Each note is titled, filed into a folder and tagged while it's written. Search looks for what you meant as well as the words themselves, so searching "school holidays" finds your half term plans. Your library is grouped by day, and every note shows its folder colour.
Adding to a note
Record more into an existing note, or import an audio file, and BrainFlow rewrites the note from everything you've said.
Sending it on
Send a note or its transcript to Notion, email it to yourself, or share it with any app. You can also export all your notes as a backup.
Your notes stay yours
Recordings and notes are encrypted in transit and at rest, and there are no ads. Start without an account, then add a Google sign-in when you want your notes on another phone. Deleted notes wait in Recently Deleted for 30 days, and you can undo a delete straight away.

You can now start recording from the bottom navigation. We've refreshed the recording animations and menus, improved audio uploads and skipping through recordings, and fixed recovery from Trash. Search and imported notes work more reliably. This update also fixes task editing, speaker labels and keeping your notes when you sign in to an existing account, with clearer import progress.
