About this app

The FIATA Container Packing App has been developed by FIATA for the benefit of the freight forwarding
industry. It provides helpful guidance for those engaged in container packing operations by
consolidating global best practices and standards in a handy checklist that can be easily accessed on a
mobile device (iOS and Android). The checklist can be conveniently used during the planning and
supervision of container packing and can then be downloaded for record keeping purposes. This App
is aimed at promoting wider awareness and understanding of global best practices and standards on
the packing of cargo for international transport, contributing to the risk reduction and mitigation in the
supply chain, and facilitating knowledge sharing for FIATA’s global freight forwarding community. It
should be noted that this App is not intended to provide professional or legal advice, nor does it
