About this game

MoM is a cultist simulator in the idle clicker genre created by two indie game designers who love pixel art and the dark fantasy world of H.P. Lovecraft. Take on the role of a devoted acolyte, seeking to awaken Cthulhu in his ruined temple. Tap to gather souls or summon eldritch horrors to do it for you. Your cultists and minions ensure that both tapping and automation remain powerful as you grow incrementally.

As indie developers, we believe in a fair, ad-free experience. All ads in MoM are optional and everything can be earned just by playing. No paywalls, just pure strategic gameplay.

We've spent years refining Masters of Madness Incremental to create a deep and rewarding experience:

◆ Draw occult sigils to unleash powerful bonuses
◆ Collect artifacts that unlock unique abilities
◆ Decorate your shrine with idols to gain strategic buffs
◆ Master the ascension & transcension system for endless progression
◆ Participate in regular events with special modifiers
◆ Immerse yourself in the atmospheric dark-fantasy world with handcrafted pixel game art

Step into Cthulhu's temple and awaken the Great Old One!

Overall it's a good idle game. There comes a point where you need a certain amount of accrued delirium (all that you earned that run). That part is rough, especially because it doesn't tell you anywhere your total outside of the constellations screen. Honestly, there are not enough ads (never thought I'd say that). I'd have liked to watch an add to get some elder blood. Better yet would have been watch an ad for some delirium gain & sigil effects. The coin is just not worth it.

I enjoy incrementals and this one was pretty cool. I can't see myself playing it longterm though. There is almost no way to get premium currency but it is needed in large quantities. The result is an obvious pay to progress system. Most incrementals are similar but they hide it better. This one doesn't have any complicated systems like Endless Frontier to hide the need for tons of $$$. Fun for awhile but to basic and I think I prefer doing the premium upfront cost like in Magic Research.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We've got some different ways to earn free Elder Blood, like through Offerings and daily Blessings. MoM might look a bit basic at first glance but as you delve deeper into the game, you'll uncover unique stuff. Join us on Reddit or Discord if you want to communicate with experienced MoM-players :)

Could use a lot of minor improvements IMO. Mainly that it's very slow even for an idle game, and you have to buy a coin to unlock the ability to watch ads that will give you 2x boost to only your passive gain for only ten minutes (so not worth it at all to me). But I like the art and the ads are optional. It's easy to do a quick check in a few times a day, but sadly, you make significantly less progress offline.

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your thoughts on the game. The Silver Coin is meant as a way to support us while giving a small bonus, without making you feel obligated to purchase it. The strength of offline progression varies depending on how far you’ve advanced in the game. At times, it can even become your main source of soul income.

What’s new

- Loading times improved significantly.
- Now you can continue to a new timeline from the Leviathan. If you do this the next time you summon Cthulhu you will again be at the Leviathan, with the option to go back to the Void.
- Sound settings work again.
- Sigil time counters were being displayed further apart, this is fixed.
- Trapezohedron now displays the correct name in the showcase.
- Now you can't swipe while the Wormwhole animation is running.
