On BuddyMe that move is already made. People near you have plans, and you say "I'm in". Not a dating app, no swiping, and chatting is free.

How it works
The feed shows which activities people nearby are up to. If something appeals to you, tap "I'm in" and you're in the group chat. That's where you settle time and place and then meet, anywhere from two to eight people. In a group that small you actually talk, unlike at an event with fifty strangers. No newsfeed, no followers: BuddyMe is built so you close the app and go out.

And if nothing fits, open a Loop yourself and show what you're up for. "Up for coffee this week" is enough. Whoever feels like it joins.

You decide who's in
A Loop is open to everyone or only to the people you want: women only, verified profiles only, your buddies only. If you'd rather see who's coming first, set it to "On request".

Anyone new in town, anyone looking for activity partners because their own friends have little time right now, anyone who wants to meet like-minded people for a hobby. Women looking for a new best friend, and couples who want to meet other couples. Studying, with kids or retired, in Berlin, Vienna, Hamburg, Graz, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Zurich or a smaller city. Expats and newcomers welcome, and there's room for queer friendships too. The most common Loops are coffee, walks and hiking, board game nights, concerts, sports, gaming and going out.

Your safety
Photo verification, Trust Score and moderated profiles. Others only see your city and a rough distance, never your exact location. Contact details are shared in chat only after a confirmed meet-up. Block and report anytime.

Free and Premium
Browsing, joining, opening Loops and chatting are free, so you can make friends without paying for it. Premium moves your Loops up the feed and shows you who viewed your profile. BuddyMe is available for Android, iPhone and in the browser at app.buddyme.me.

Ratings and reviews

This app has very poor search filters. Often extremely old profiles pop up & get the same blogs/profiles over & over which makes it very annoying. Many profiles are well over 6-12 months old and no longer active. As a foreigner this app in general doesn't offer much help in connecting with people as unfortunately the culture of where I'm at is that of closed doors. Maybe in a different country this works or if I was a local.... Never been in a situation where friends are impossible to find.

You people should work on your app after I updated mine it stop sending messages you have to fixed that

DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!! There is NO way to delete your account, the button doesn't work.
