Like most, I found the free info to be good, basic info that can be found at a couple of the better websites. For a fraction of the annual membership fee I was able to attend a 16- hour hands-on course with live models. And they provided the rope. 😀 In short, this is overpriced for what you get. Not bad, but over-priced. (One of the people attending the seminar talked about this app, after paying, and said it was "okay, but not great".)

Thanks for your feedback. We don't have a membership plan. We offer lifetime access for a one-time fee or 12 monthly payments. Our Shibari Certificate includes over 100 ties recorded in first person (easy to follow). For less than what you would pay for a one-day workshop you get access to all our lessons and all future updates. Have fun tying.

For free the app is okay. It goes through safety, rope selection and basic knots. In that respect, good on them. The price for the complete course though... 800 to 960 depending on how you pay, is a bit of an eyebrow raiser. I work at a private university and that's more than we charge. I wish them luck, but I know of several different ways of learning the ropes for a lot less money.

The app itself is free but it mostly just shows pictures of various knots/ties unless you pay the $80 a month or $799 a year fee to watch full tutorial videos on how to correctly create the knot/tie. You are also expected to create an account (which ask you to enroll in a membership) to receive any more information throughout the app. It doesn't have anymore information than something would come across for free online. Edit: If it was *completely* free there wouldn't be a mention of $799

Our Shibari 101 course is completely free and includes several high quality video lessons including all the basic knots required to make most Shibari ties. Just open the app, create an account and start watching right away.
Our full certificate includes over 100 ties and our videos are recorded in first person so they are super easy to follow.
