I absolutely love the ability to speak my mind without having to edit my thoughts while speaking - but have the ability to do it later. Voicenotes has reduced the friction I had with writing notes, because I can do it anytime I want by just clicking a button. It also doesn't matter if my thoughts are long or short - a thought is a thought. Love it!

I really want to love the app but it needs a lot of work in terms of bug fixes. Whenever the app is restarted - it is always in a logged out state. so I can't just quickly start the note - I always have to log in first. Additionally, as others brought up, the possibility of losing an audio recording is high. Whether due to an upload issue or accidentally pressing "back" or "cancel". It should be a lot harder to get your audio recording discarded like that. And yes, widget is not useful at all :(

Completely broken and customer service is non-existent. For months now, it has regularly failed to upload recordings. They just sit there, not ever uploading and the retry/download/playback buttons all do nothing. It was intermittent before, but now it fails 100% of the time regardless of whether I'm on Wi-Fi or mobile data. I'm following all their guidelines for keeping the app open, etc. I contacted support and it literally took them 8 weeks to say that they're "working on it"
