I've been using the Google recorder built into my pixel phone to record and then upload to voicenotes to do the transcript. It does do really good transcripts when it succeeds in completing them. Uploading usually goes smoothly but then they sit in the transcribing mode with no progress bar..... after an hour or two or overnight the transcription has completed and a wonderful AI summary has been created as well. A progress bar with predicted completion time would be a wonderful improvement!

One of my favorite purchases of all time. I use & query it multiple times daily. I've extended to notion, Hermes and Atomicapp via the API so I can add knowledge to my knowledge base, events to my calendar and tasks and ideas to my projects. This all happens with my voice input on the phone, and my watch when I'm moving around and my phone isn't on me! 5 stars!

I absolutely love the ability to speak my mind without having to edit my thoughts while speaking - but have the ability to do it later. Voicenotes has reduced the friction I had with writing notes, because I can do it anytime I want by just clicking a button. It also doesn't matter if my thoughts are long or short - a thought is a thought. Love it!
