Long time MS Office user and subscriber, so I use OneNote already on PC. Figured I'd use it on phone over Samsung Notes. Works well. One thing I do hate is if I write something, and close the app in under a minute of writing it, my stuff may or may not have erased. So, sometimes I've jotted down some quick things, closed the app, and gimme back to see my information missing. Similarly, even if I leave it open for a while, and then go check on PC, I may or may not have a bunch of conflicts.

I must've installed 25 notepad type apps. Here is why I believe OneNote is the best by far. 1 It has great undo-redo. 2 One can easily select multiple notes for deletion or whatever. 3 You have multiple options for presentation so that you can easily see a preview of every note without going into the note. 4 You don't have to monkey around with separate title and contact fields. Your first line of text acts as the title. 5 I think it's FREE. 6 I wish we could customize the note preview amount.

Good app, could be great: MS, why no feature parity between the different platforms apps? Though I'd settle for just having handwriting to text. Currently I have a two part process for handwritten notes, second step being to move to a Windows PC to convert and smooth out notes. My guess is there's some marketing/legal team at MS forbidding feature parity between all of the apps. The fact that it is available on all the major platforms makes it better than most Note taking apps, though.
