I LOVE it! It's fantastic. A perfect way for me write down my ideas and thoughts on something that I can go back to or access online and on my phone. 😁 I do have a question though and concern. Some of my notes when I get on tell me at the top that there are conflicting changes and to go to the online server to look at them, but when I do I can't seem to find them. If I could get any advice on how to deal with this without deleting anything or messing up notes that would be great. Overall, it's a really fantastic app😃
I have about 6 months of notes on my tablet that have not been synced as it is rarely connected to the internet, and when it has been, the app has not automatically synced as should be doing. Now, the app keeps asking me to provide a password to sync notes, which would mean signing out - and with no local note saving or any way to copy sections into new notebooks, this would mean losing all my notes, or copying and pasting each of my 100+ pages one by one. There should be a better way to do this, but it seems there isn't.
I love one note. I have it connected on my desktop and laptop. I use it for school mostly, taking notes and such. I also use it for my writing. I love being able to have all my creative works in one place. Often times I am inspired or get an idea and I write it down in notes on my phone. I always forget to transfer those notes to one note later. So I finally had The genius idea to download one note to my phone. Unfortunately I have tried repeatedly to login into the app but it keeps giving me an error... because of this I give the app a 3. I know it's capabilities but i obviously can't use any of them. Tis a shame.
One Note is perhaps the app I use the most in my Galaxy S3 tablet. I've enjoyed the update and it is definitely improving. It lags sometimes though and I don't know if it is my internet connection that makes it lag or if it is a bug in the new update. I annotate in powerpoint slides of usually more than 40 slides, so maybe it is because of this? Other than that, I would love to have more highlighter color options. Synchronization to my pc is wonderful.
It's a great note taking app that integrates well with PC. The sync is INSTANT! It lacks auto titling for handwritten only notes, which makes it rather confusing when I don't put any title directly. Perhaps using date, time, and location for any new note is great. For SPen it lacks pressure sensitivity and that's all. I like the two pen color option, it makes everything done quicker. The app should also utilize the always use Rules Lines on new notes like the one on PC. But the most important feature is sorting notes based on date modified. If that can happen soon then it will be perfect.
Definitely a great app for what it is. I appreciate that you get quite a lot of features for no cost. Although there seem to be a few missing. I constantly find myself wanted to spellcheck a whole document rather than clicking and correcting each one. Is that too much to ask for? I don't know. I supplement this with open office on my tablet and home computer and it works great. I love that it syncs notes to the cloud and across all devices.
1. When you reopen OneNote, it will remember the notes you were working on and open right to that place.
2. Bug fixes and performance improvements.
