I've used this app for years now, and though it's fairly basic and it's not perfect, I keep coming back to it every day. Didn't realize I hadn't rated this yet ... but after a recent change (?) which tripled or even quadrupled the number of temp points on the map, I love it. I'm guessing some might think the increase in temp points makes the map too cluttered, but I think even more would still be good. It really fills in the gaps of the map to give a better idea of the temps across N America

Update, Jan 5th, 2026: for the last week, the temperature layer has been going crazy. It used to be that each state would have just a few temperature readings on the map, usually corresponding to the larger cities. Now there are many more temperatures crammed in all over the place, that don't seem to represent a real place. It makes it look messy. -- If this is the old Radar Express, it still is a great app. I tried a few other radar apps, and didn't like the visual. This one is easy to see.

This app has been with me for a year or two, and I can't live without it. It opens fast and has never failed me during bad weather. The display, animation, and map coverage make it easy to use and even better for tracking storms. If you want to know what's coming and when it's going, this is the app for you. Update: It's almost 2025, and I am still using Radar X. Better than ever and extremely valuable. I wish the city tags would grow larger when zooming in on a particular area of the map.
