About this game

Tap. The ball launches straight up. Thread it through the gap in the spinning
neon ring and the ring shatters — and the next note of the melody plays.

Miss, and the phrase falls apart.

Chimeloop is a one-tap rhythm arcade game where every ring you break is a note,
not a sound effect. Ten passes in a row isn't ten beeps — it's a rising melody.
A good run actually sounds like a good run. Best played with sound on.

You are not playing a ring game. You are playing an instrument that happens to
keep score.

▶ HOW IT PLAYS
- One tap. One hand. Portrait. No tutorial, no account, no aiming.
- A neon ring spins around the centre with a single gap in it.
- Tap to launch the ball, slip it through the gap, shatter the ring.
- The ring speeds up and the gap narrows the longer you survive.
- Every 8 passes the ring flips direction, the palette changes, and a harmony
note lands on top of the melody. It's a beat drop you earned.

▶ EVERY PASS IS A NOTE
Most tap games give you a beep. This music game gives you a phrase. Each pass
triggers the next note of a pentatonic scale, notes overlap and decay into one
another instead of cutting each other off, and a quiet sub-octave sits
underneath for weight. There is no background loop — the playing is the music.
Even failing sounds good: the phrase resolves back down to the root.

▶ COMBO, FLAMES, BURNOUT
Passes taken in rhythm build a streak up to a 3x multiplier that pays both score
and coins. Neon orange flames crawl in from all four edges of the screen while
the combo is alive, growing with the multiplier and guttering out as your window
closes — so you watch the streak slipping instead of finding out it's gone.
Play it safe and wait for an easy gap, and you keep the run but lose the fire.

▶ THE FEEL
Hit-stop, screen shake, a bloom swell and sixteen shards flying outward on every
single pass. Six hand-authored neon palettes that drift and shift for the whole
run. Everything — ring, ball, shards, flames — is drawn procedurally with custom
shaders, so it stays razor sharp on any screen and the whole game fits in 31 MB.
Deep black backgrounds that look incredible on OLED.

▶ FORGIVING ON PURPOSE
The gap is judged slightly wider than it is drawn, and the crossing is decided
at the exact moment the ball touches the ring, not on a physics tick. If you
think you got through, you got through. This is a timing game, not a coin flip.

▶ COLLECT AND CUSTOMISE
Earn coins by playing — never by paying. Spend them in the shop on:
- 5 ball skins that change the shape, not just the colour
- 6 neon palettes, each with its own variations
- 4 instrument sets that change what your runs sound like
Buying and equipping are separate, so owning something never forces it on you.
Three fresh daily missions, the same ones for every player each day.

▶ NO DARK PATTERNS
No in-app purchases. No energy. No lives. No consumables. No login. No forced ad
before you've even learned the game. Everything in the shop is earned by
playing. Just an arcade game that respects your time.

▶ MADE FOR TWO MINUTES OR TWENTY
Sessions are seconds long and endlessly repeatable — perfect for a commute, a
queue, or a break. One hand, portrait, no wifi needed to play.

Neon. Rhythm. Reflexes. One tap.
How long can you keep the melody going?
One-tap neon arcade: every ring you break plays the next note of the melody.
