About this app

See what changed between two versions of a text file. Import plain UTF-8 files or paste your original and revised text, then choose a line or word comparison.

Pairglance shows additions, removals and unchanged text, with controls to move between changes. Choose exact comparison, normalized line endings or trimmed lines explicitly. Saved comparison projects keep both source texts on this device.

Export a unified patch or a readable HTML report and use the native share sheet to save or send it. The app does not apply patches or merge files automatically.

Each source supports up to 200,000 characters and 10,000 lines. Computation is bounded, so a complex comparison or patch may need shorter inputs. TXT, Markdown, JSON, CSV and TSV are compared as text; this is not a semantic JSON validator. Binary PDF and Word documents, OCR and legal approval are outside its scope.

Comparisons run locally, without a cloud repository connection. No account, advertising, subscription or in-app purchase is required. The interface is in English.
