The VINELink.com app allows victims and concerned citizens to access the nation’s leading offender information and victim notification network, VINE (Victim Information & Notification Everyday), conveniently from their mobile devices.

The VINE service is free and offers users the following features and benefits:
• Access the VINE online portal 24/7/365
• View offender custody status information from over 2,900 law enforcement agencies across 48 states (data availability is determined by agency)
• Register for offender custody change notifications by in-app notification, phone, email, text message (where available) or TTY device

Important Note: Android devices do not currently support push notifications or on-screen alerts. This does not interfere with registering to receive notifications via SMS, Phone, Email, In-App, or TTY. In-App notifications are accessible to Android users through the application.

Ratings and reviews

The reason for only 3 stars is the fact that the login doesn't stay. Even going away from the app for 1 minute and you're locked out. You should at the very least by choice be able to turn on saving the login as a setting, it would also be nice if you could turn biometric login. On as an option rather than having to constantly enter your username and password.

I have been using this app for over 6 years then all of a sudden I go to open it to check on a friend and it's nothing but a black screen. I even uninstalled and re-installed it and still nothing but a black screen. However, when I tap my screen it then goes to a solid white screen. Can you please fix this so I can stop going online to the website just to look up information.

I just installed this on my new device (nearly identical to former) because I'd been needing it. worked just fine on my other device but like others leaving reviews, now I get only a black screen...? is anyone answering this? I've not seen any response from developer on other reviews.. also actively looked for updates to this app and others (browser etc) that might be root cause to no avail. Anyone? anyone else out there found a fix? I'll edit my review and stars if the response is given openly.
