About this app

Audikus is the first app in a specialized suite of music education tools. Each app in the suite focuses on one specific area of music — this first release is dedicated exclusively to harmonic ear training: the ability to recognize sounds, intervals, chords and scales.

🎯 WHAT MAKES AUDIKUS DIFFERENT?

It's not a rhythm app, not a solfège app, not a sight-reading app. Audikus specializes in one field: harmonic ear training. That specialization is its strength — every exercise, every setting and every practice mode is designed to develop exactly that skill.

🎵 WHAT CAN YOU PRACTICE?

• Intervals — All 12 intervals melodically or harmonically, ascending or descending, across registers

• Triads — Major, minor, augmented, diminished, sus2 and sus4

• Inversions — Root position, 1st and 2nd inversion of major, minor and diminished triads across registers C3, C4 and C5

• Seventh Chords — 6 chord types in harmonic, arpeggio or mixed mode

• Progressions — The most common harmonic progressions in tonal music

• Scales — 12 scales: Major, Natural/Harmonic/Melodic Minor, Major/Minor Pentatonic, Blues, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian and Locrian — in different keys

• Absolute Note — Individual note recognition in diatonic (7 notes) or chromatic (12 notes) mode, with C as reference

• Study Mode — Explore each element before being tested

• Test Mode — Random exercises with score and streak tracking

📊 INTELLIGENT PROGRESS TRACKING

Audikus detects not just whether you're wrong, but how you're wrong. If you confuse a major 3rd with its inverse (minor 6th), the app recognizes it as an approximation — not a serious error — and flags it in yellow. Over time it generates personalized pedagogical suggestions based on your most frequent confusions.
