Had to use the Media Air app to finally get it set up then switch back to the Arctic Air app. Also, like another review mentioned, had to forget my 5G network and turn my airplane mode off and on. Took about an hour to get it all just right and I couldn't tell you had I acutally did it. Just kept changing things till it worked. And STAND VERY CLOSE to the unit when setting it up. It doesn't communicate very far when setting it up.

First it would never see the ac unit either manually or qr. Second it wants location data???? Third it refuses to log in when I first start the app unless I have wifi turned off. Once connected and wifi is back on it constantly tells me I have a bad network, guess gig internet is not good enough. This app has worked one frign time to connect to the ac and now says it is offline even though the router shows the ac unit connected. This has to be worse than an app simple crashing. Reporting app.

It ain't it My main issue is how slow this app is. My phone's own internet is fine, my home WiFi is even better. The AC window unit is right besides the WiFi. And it's extremely slow. The app lags and then shuts down. I wanted this app so I could schedule to turn on right before I get out of bed. It's not a deal breaker as far as the AC goes, which is their main product. I don't recommend this app. I love Artic King but if I find a brand who's app DOES work, I will gladly buy their ac.
