About this app

Upon reaching its 12 years of existence with 10 published editions, the Practical Guide to Aromatherapy becomes the fundamental application for the user of essential oils, be it beginner or advanced. Much more sustainable than the paper version, it is perfect for you who are always looking for a natural approach to issues related to your health and well-being.

Easy and intuitive to use, it has consistent and relevant information from the universe of aromatherapy, presenting concise and objective texts based on internationally recognized bibliography.

And what's better: it has no inconvenient ads or pop ups and all of its content is available for free, without the need for an internet connection.

In it you will find:
- An alphabetical listing of 114 essential oils, and 22 vegetable oils, 12 hydrolates (floral waters) and 6 clays.
- Suggestion of therapeutic, aromacological and dermatological use of each essential oil and detailed description of various forms of use.
- Photo identifying the plant and scientific name of the species.
- List of situations in which essential oils can help as an ally of your well being and health.
- A search engine developed by aromatherapists thinking about aromatherapists. Type the word that comes into your mind related to aromatherapy and all its occurrences in the guide will be presented.

The app's texts were written by Vishwa Schoppan, a biologist with a bachelor's degree in ecology. Graduated in aromatherapy from L'ecole de Santé Francaise-Graveson-Provence, in Ayurvedic Massage Training by Kussum Modak, India, with extension in Ayurveda with Dr. Danilo Carneiro by the Brazilian Association of Ayurveda, trained in Aura-Soma Color Therapy and courses in phytotherapy extension. Owner and Technical Responsible of Terra Flor Aromatherapy.

“My passion for the scents of mother earth took me to the four corners of the world in search of knowledge about medicinal plants. This whole experience brought me the perception of the sacredness and the interconnectedness of life. "
