It would get 5 stars, as what it does is really useful, but lately when I try and activate it it just pulls up the "Thanks for Purchasing" screen for Night Screen+ and won't actually turn on even though I already paid for it. Toggling it a bunch with the home screen widget eventually makes it figure out I should have access to the premium features, but it's just really annoying

May be strange to praise a dimmer app but it's really the best one. It's simplistic with a brightness bar that you can turn up and down without stopping what you're doing, has a pause and off button in the pull down tab. It brightens back up when you swipe tab down so if you forgot to turn it off and go outside, you won't be stuck trying to find the app to turn it off. This thing is simply the best and no phone should go without. Literally, some phone company should pick this up as preinstalls

Update: The latest update solved the "no touch" issues I described before and I raised my rating to 3. I'll go back to a 5 if you can fix the lock screen overlay, which used to dim the lock screen. 2/3/2022: I've been using this for years and it's been great. Since the 12.0 Android update it no longer works properly. When the screen is dimmed, touch does not work. I'll put this to a 5 when it's fixed. I'm using another product that works, but I like less well.
