Ratings and reviews

Solid & timely reports on conflicts & global situations in a well laid out interface. I've been using it for a few months & it's been great. Have not had any issues myself. I work in private intel/security & the high-end paid versions that are similar to this are very, very expensive so this is a good way to get relevant info for much less. Plenty of info for the average user trying to stay informed.

Doesn't have a password login option so it forces you to use email "magic links". Free option is pretty much useless and doesn't even notify you of new events. The free trial requires submitting payment info and only lasts a week. The impact rating of many news items seems inflated. The overall idea is good but the execution is very lacking. A good Twitter list is a better alternative to this app.

The site nagged me endlessly about countries that I wanted to focus on and allowing it to send me notifications when all I wanted to do was just spend some time on the site and see what it was offering. I was never able to do that because these two issues kept popping up and interfering with my attempts to view the site. I wasn't actually able to read anything because of them. I deleted it immediately. Not even vaguely user friendly. Baffling. There needs to be a ZERO stars option.
