can modify real file metadata, not only in-app properties of a book! 😘 p.s.: please add a filter by series or the ability to edit file metadata tags (not only in-app tags). Just want to store my library properly, without being locked into one app (for example, I also check series and tags in moon+ reader). Of course, I use calibre for that, but sometimes you need a quick addition of a category (for filter purposes later) through a tag or series right here on android. thanks!

The absolute best app!!! I spent days looking for an app that let's me read pdfs without any extra fuss, but still with at least minimal editing option like highlighting. And this is it! It's simple looking, simple to use, works well, no pop-ups in your face, no extra bulk with features that I wouldn't ever want to use anyway, perfect for reading and highlighting which I think are the two essential things a mobile reader app needs to do.

I am currently using the Text-to-Speech (TTS) feature to listen to e-books on my Pixel 6 phone. However, I have encountered a rather frustrating bug with the TTS feature: it does not automatically pause when I receive an incoming phone call. Because of this, the audio keeps playing in the background during calls. TTS also has a bug with play/pause gesture of my Bluetooth headset. It does not pause but start to play next paragraph when I use pause gesture.
