I bought the meter because I could sync with my phone. My disappointment is in the reporting. I'm adding carbs, medication, other notes etc. and all that is not in a report. Waste of time then.
It won't let me use the app without pairing a meter. I have a previous generation meter, the contour next link, that talks to my paradigm 754 insulin pump. It does not have Bluetooth. I was excited to find contour had come out with its own app, but very disappointed it isn't usable for folks without Bluetooth meters.
Does the 2 star rating mean something to you? When are you going to update this app to compliment this otherwise exelent blood monitor. The report print output total stinks. My doctors don't even want to look at it. I have been using your brand for the last 15 years and if you dont do something about this soon I will change to a diferental brand. Please fix
Can't get the meter to connect to the app. Can't use the app (no menu or other options) until the meter is connected. Android phone and tablet can see and connect to the meter in the Android Settings and a BLE testing apps shows meter data, but the app always fails to connect.
Sucks that this meter app combo is worse than the previous Next USB meter standing alone. It doesn't seem like the Bluetooth function is working properly, and nou now have to enter insulin doses manually on the app only. The app takes to long to sync. It should be instant. I have to double check my manual entries several times before they appear on the app. Terrible if you are in a restaurant, busy, or just want to make sure all entries are properly recorded. My BS control is excellent, but not because of this app/meter combo. Word of advice - stick with the Next USB meter for less stress when ur in a hurry. I will change my rating if they update the app accordingly.
Reports are aweful must beceasy to read or to export to Excel file like a regular old fashioned logbooks. I still have to write my reading down to show my Endocrinologist.
