Quotes Widget is a free, secure, ads-free, ergonomic and light-weight widget with best hand-picked quotes. Make any simple home screen look inspirational.

It only includes the best hand-picked motivational quotes for you. It is designed primarily to make any normal home screen look inspirational.

Getting Started: Go to widgets by long-pressing on your home screen. Now long-press and drag Quotes from the widgets list and place it on your home screen. Select suitable settings and click the 'Apply' button.

Features:

★ Ads Free: This widget is completely ads-free and does not spam you in any way.

★ Ergonomic: It is designed to have a minimum memory footprint and easy to use.

★ Secure: No personal information is read or reported from your device. This widget does not require any additional permissions from users to function. External storage permission might be required if you need to import/export custom quotes to internal storage.

★ Offline: Works offline as well. Internet connection is only required when you need to fetch the latest quotes from our server.

★ Customizable: You can change fonts, color, size, alignment and style of quotes which suits your home screen.

★ Custom Quotes: You can add, edit and manage your own quotes. Set quotes category to custom quotes to show your own quotes instead of system quotes.

★ Import Custom Quotes: Add custom quotes in bulk by selecting JSON file with an array of quotes in the following format:

I will always give this app 5 stars. It is the only one that does exactly what I need it to do. A simple quote widget that cycles through either a pre-selection or your own choices, or both. I have it set to my own choices and have never been disappointed. Nothing is perfect, so my one criticism is that font outline or shadow is not available as an option.

Excellent app which does exactly what is promised. No clickbates, fake personalization, premium plans with 3-day free trial or any similar annoying stuff. The only issue I found is that changing fonts doesn't change the widget, only the preview. Maybe fonts aren't present on the device to be shown, or the app doesn't register them to be used by the phone, so please fix it. I am looking forward to get a way to support the development, like a voluntary premium version with the same functionality

After trying many text/quotes apps, this is the simplest yet the finest I found! Stuck with this several years ago :) I would like some option to organize my custom quotes alphabetically or by author though, so as to remove duplicates after restoring. Or the option to "skip duplicates" when restoring. One more thing, when writing, there's no option to put a "line down" character. It's quite annoying having to write it in another app and then copy to Quotes, for the text to look nice. Thank you!
